Not advice

Truenote reports and projects. It is not tax, legal, investment or financial advice.

Updated 2026-10-29

Truenote shows you your own figures and works out things from them: how the month compares with your plan, what a bucket is due, a projection of the year’s federal tax from the figures you and your paystubs gave it. Those are calculations, not advice.

  • The tax projection covers federal income tax for a simplified household (W-2 wages, self-employed income, common deductions and credits). It leaves out state income tax, the alternative minimum tax and much else, and it’s only as good as the figures entered. Your return is yours and your preparer’s.
  • Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything, to pay or not pay a debt, or to change your withholding. If Truenote says a certain extra withholding would break even, that’s arithmetic on your inputs, not a filing instruction.
  • The AI agents you connect form their own answers from what Truenote gives them. They can be wrong, and they are not us.

Check anything that matters with a professional who knows your situation. Truenote is a tool for thinking about your money, not a substitute for judgment.
