Export and deletion

Take everything out as JSON or CSV at any time, and what deleting the account does.

Export

Settings → Your data exports everything you own: accounts, transactions, holdings, liabilities, the plan, buckets and their ledgers, goals, income sources, entities, categories, rules, notes, plans, tasks, documents’ metadata, and the audit log. As one JSON document, or a zip of CSVs. Over the API: GET /v1/export and GET /v1/export.zip with any token that has the matching read scopes (the export holds only what the token may see).

Deleting the account

Settings → Delete account (type your email to confirm). Every bank is removed at Plaid, so Plaid stops sharing; every agent’s access is revoked; the audit log is purged; everything you own is deleted, sessions and passkeys included. If Plaid refuses one removal, the banks already removed stay removed, nothing else changes, and you can try again. Backups keep their copies until they age out (6 to 89 days).

A lapsed subscription

Syncing stops. After a grace period your banks are removed at Plaid; your data is kept for 30 days (export still works), then deleted.
